We are an established Approved Training Operator or ATO delivering the CITB Site Safety courses including the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course in Stratford. We have a great deal of experience in providing this training. The course aims to ensure managers know what their on-site health and safety responsibilities are and that they are able to identify any possible hazards or risks which could cause injuries.
The course takes place over five days. It aims to give delegates a thorough understanding of the latest UK health and safety guidelines and regulations, RAMS and how to ensure these are complied with on-site.
Who Are Stratford SMSTS Courses For?
Our SMSTS training courses in Stratford are designed for construction site workers who have already achieved an SSSTS qualification or are already working as Site Manager wanting to build on their existing knowledge and qualifications for providing construction health and safety knowledge.

The course is ideal for anyone who has responsibility for overseeing other workers and needs a more detailed understanding of how to plan, monitor and organise their output in the safest way, ensuring regulations are met.

How the Stratford SMSTS Course is Assessed
Although our SMSTS courses in Stratford normally take place over five full days, you can also attend an SMSTS weekend course in Stratford if this is a better fit for your schedule. During the course, you will need to complete case studies and other class exercises that have been set by the Trainer. The course ends with an exam of which 15 minutes are open book. You will need to attend each session in the five-day course in order to be able to sit the exam.
Once the course has been completed and you have passed your exam, you will receive a CITB SMSTS certificate. This will remain valid for five years.
