Our SSSTS courses have been created to give you detailed knowledge of the latest health and safety construction site requirements. If you work in a supervisory position on a construction site and are responsible for overseeing other workers, you will be required to attend an SSSTS course. The course will give you an overview of your legal responsibilities and tell you everything you need to know to ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines on-site.
Who is the Stratford SSSTS course aimed at?
The SSSTS course in Stratford is targeted at existing construction site supervisors as well as those that are new to supervisory positions. SSSTS stands for Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme. The course content aims to give delegated knowledge of the very latest health and safety legislation and procedures alongside relevant environmental issues and the legal responsibilities of employers.
This popular SSSTS course is perfect for supervisors with and without existing knowledge. This is because it gives you an outline of the common issues that may occur on construction sites, emphasising the importance of all team members working together so hazards can be identified and risks can be minimised.
Once the SSSTS course is completed, attendees can progress onto the next course, the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS). We also run SMSTS courses, so simply let us know if this is of interest to you.
What does the SSSTS course consist of?
The SSSTS course in Stratford lasts for two days. In order to pass the course, you will need to attend both days.
The course offers an interactive learning experience incorporating exercises and a multiple choice questionnaire to exam to test your knowledge.
The Stratford SSSTS course includes the following:
- An overview of the role of a supervisor

- The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
