Course overview
This courses the following units:
- LA – Location & avoidance of underground apparatus
- O1 – Signing, lighting and guarding
- O2 – Excavation in the highway
- O3 – Reinstatement & compaction of backfill materials
- O4 – Reinstatement of sub base & road in non-bituminous materials
- O5 – Reinstatement of cold-lay bituminous materials
- O6 – Reinstatement of hot lay bituminous materials
- O8 – Reinstatement of modular surfaces and concrete footway
Assessment
Practical tests and exam for each unit.
Certificate
Following successful completion, a CABWI certificate will be issued and an SWQR card can be applied for both lasting 5 years.

Once you have booked online you will be emailed Joining Instructions, confirming the course details and the venue address. All Target Zero EUSR training and assessment is carried out by one of our approved, accredited EUSR partners. Please remember to bring photographic ID (passport or driving licence).
