Our SSSTS course in Peterborough is designed to provide knowledge of the health and safety requirements of a construction site. It is a requirement of anyone that is working in a supervisor position on site, with a responsibility for overseeing other workers. The course provides an overview of their legal responsibility and everything they need to know to ensure health and safety guidelines are followed on site.
Who is The SSSTS Training Course Aimed At?
Our SSSTS training course in Peterborough is aimed at those who are existing supervisors on a construction site or those new to a supervisory role. SSSTS stands for Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme and the course material is aimed at providing attendees with knowledge of the latest health and safety legislation and procedures, environmental issues they should bear in mind and what are the legal responsibilities of an employer.
The SSSTS course in Peterborough is ideal for supervisors whether they have any previous knowledge or not, as it provides an outline of the common issues that can occur on a construction site and how it is the responsibility of everyone to work together to identify the hazards and minimise risk to themselves and others.
When the SSSTS course is completed, there is the option to progress and take the next course which is the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS), which is also provided by Target Zero. Please let us know if this is of interest.
