How is the Stratford SMSTS Refresher course delivered?
At Target Zero, we deliver the CITB SMSTS refresher course online or at various venues across the UK. You will be required to attend for the full 2 days in order to complete the course and gain your certificate. The exam includes 25 questions with 18 multiple choice and 7 short answer written questions, with a pass mark of 81%. For the last 15 minutes, delegates are permitted to use their SMSTS (GE700) and XA6 workbooks.
How long does the certificate last?
The certificate lasts for five years. Delegates need to re-take the SMSTS Refresher 2-day course before the existing certificate has expired. You will receive your CITB certificate after 2-3 weeks via email.
You will receive confirmation of your result through email shortly after you have completed the course. The course is designed to refresh your understanding of health and safety, welfare and the environment. It is designed to reinforce your existing knowledge of health and safety legislation, current guidance and best practice.
What happens when I book an SMSTS Refresher course in Stratford?
Once you have booked your place on the course online, joining instructions will be emailed to you. The email will confirm the course details as well as the venue address. Please remember to bring photographic ID with you when you attend the course. We can accept a passport or driving licence as photo ID.
You will be required to complete an Initial Assessment via a link which we will email to you. CITB requires that all delegates have a sufficient standard and understanding of English in order to take the course.
