Existing first aiders holding a current First Aid at Work certificate are required to undertake the 2-day refresher course before their existing certificate expires. This refresher course, delivered by our experienced trainers, is for those working in a high-risk industry including construction, manufacturing, warehousing, sport, hospitality and on the railways. Training can be delivered at one of our training venues or at your premises if you have 6 or more delegates.
What is covered in the course?
The 2-day Emergency First Aid at Work Refresher coursesare accredited by TQUK to comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974. As a condensed version of the 3-day course this course covers the following aspects of first aid to ensure that in an emergency situation you will be confident in delivering potentially lifesaving first aid:

Assessment
This refresher training is undertaken as blended learning and takes place over 2 days the first of which can be either at one of our training venues or at your premises if you have 6 or more delegates with the second day being an online session, compounding your knowledge of first aid.
Certificate
Your certificate will last for a period of three years, following which you will need to take refresher course before the existing certificate expires, although under current guidelines it is recommended to refresh your first aid training every year.
