Validity Period

The SMSTS Refresher Certificate is valid for five years. To maintain your qualification you must complete another refresher before this period ends. Renewing on time ensures you remain fully compliant with CITB requirements and continue to be recognised as a competent site manager.

Once you pass the SMSTS Refresher assessment, your details are submitted to CITB and you will receive an updated SMSTS Certificate. This confirms that your knowledge of current legislation, site management responsibilities, and safe working practices has been renewed.
