SMSTS Course Duration and Assessment

The full SMSTS Course runs over five days, typically delivered as:

Block sessions: five consecutive days, or
Day release: one day per week over five weeks

At the end of the course, you’ll complete a multiple-choice CITB test and a short written project.

Your CITB SMSTS Certificate is valid for five years and can be renewed with our SMSTS Refresher Course before it expires.
