Do I have to meet any requirements for an SMSTS course?
As with most courses, there are a few mandatory entry level requirements, to ensure this is the right qualification for you. As well as providing a valid ID on the first day of the course, the ability to read, write and understand English will also be needed. Please contact us if you have any concerns about this.
You should also be aware of the commitment you’re making. As well as the financial commitments, you should also make sure you’re prepared to put in the work, and study hard so that you pass first time, as well as get the most from the course possible.
If you aren’t new to the SMSTS course, you might be taking a refresher – you’ll need to renew this certificate every five years before it expires by taking the SMSTS Refresher course.
